Follow the manufacturers directions when using the Bondaweb. Felt
may require longer pressing times and more pressure. Remove paper
backing when ready to iron the piece in place on the banner. Make
paper patterns for all components.
(Optional Method: Trace all pattern pieces onto the paper side of
the Bondaweb, reversing the designs as designated in steps below.
Fuse and cut out)

the Cranberry felt. Cut 4 strips of Cranberry felt 5x53cm (2x21").
Iron strip across the bottom of the Denim felt. Iron a strip down
each side. Trim off the excess.

Black felt. When cool, cut out the Ark and 2 25cm (1") squares

felt for Giraffe spots. Iron them randomly onto the Giraffes. Be
sure that the paper backing is still on the Cofffee manes and Giraffe
bodies.

onto Pumpkin felt. When cool, cut out 1 large Sun and 1 small Sun.

Remove paper backing from sections which will be blanket stitched,
except large Sun. Blanket stitch using embroidery cotton.
Banner - Blanket stitch around the outside edge and the inside
edge of the Cranberry border.

small, medium and large Sun pieces together (Optional: Stitch 3
hash marks and 2 buttons to the top layer of felt.)

loops and fold in half. Stitch tail in place.
Lions - Stitch long stitches through the centre of the mane
and around to the back again. Repeat around both manes. Blanket
stitch around the body of the Lion. (Optional:Stitch a button to
the end of each tail). Hold 4 strands of embroidery cotton 10cm
(4") long together side by side and tie a knot in the centre.

hash marks and 2 or 3 buttons on each.)

that the paper backing is still on the back of the Ark and large
sun untill parts are fused.
Step 11: Iron all the pieces onto the Denim banner. Remember
to use a slightly longer pressing time and firm pressure.
Step 12: Iron a 44x51 (17x20") piece of Bondaweb onto
the Denim felt. When cool, cut out the piece and remove the paper
backing. Lay the felt piece, adhesive side down, on back of banner.
Iron securely in place. When cool, trim to 41x48cm (16x19").
