MATERIALS.............................................................................. Kunin Classic Felt - Yellow, Gold, White & Pirate Green One 30cm (12") long, 6mm (0.25") diam dowel for each flower Green permanent marker Glue Scissors Click here to view and print the pattern

INSTRUCTIONS Step 1: Colour dowel with green marker and set aside to dry Step 2: Cut out the patterns from the felt pieces. Cut slits in flower centres where indicated on the pattern, being careful not to cut all the way to the edges. Step 3: Fold outside point of flower petal in towards the centre of the flower and down through the slit. Pull through to the back very gently being careful not to rip the felt. Repeat with the other 4 petals. Step 4: Lay flower down with puffy side down (that will be your flower front). Flower back looks like it has a sunken inner circle. Glue tip of dowel to back of flower in this circle. Step 5: Glue green circle over dowel, and centre on flower back. Step 6: Cut little slits in trumpet portion of flower along one edge where indicated on the pattern. Run a bead of glue along the uncut long edge and roll up in itself tightly. Step 7: Glue trumpet on front of flower. Spread out fringed edge a little. Step 8: Run a bead of glue along the bottom straight edge of the leaves. Wrap around dowel about half way down. Hold very tightly untill the glue sets and you have a smooth finish.
