USING SERVIETTES FOR CRAFTS

The fine transparent top layer of serviettes gives a wonderful effect on all types of backgrounds.

POTS

1. Give the pots three coats of acrylic paint allowing each to dry fully.

2. Tear or cut the serviette along the design and remove the bottom 2 layers. Paint Serviette glue onto the pot. Carefully lay the serviette onto it and dab over with more of the glue.

3. Varnish the pot inside and out.

PICTURE

1. Paint the panel of the frame white, then using a little blue paint dry brush the edge of the frame.

2. Cut out a quarter serviette.

3. Coat the panel with serviette glue and lay the top layer of the serviette quarter onto it.

4. Dab over with more of the glue.

5. Use a sharp knife to cut open the area between the back laths.

SERVIETTE CARDS

1. Lay the top layer of your chosen design onto an adhesive backing paper*.

2 Cut out the design and glue to your card - no need to varnish.

*Double sided adhesive sheets can also be used, it is just a little difficult to remove the backing paper - try using a pin to get a start.

Remove creases in serviettes by ironing between sheets of baking parchment.
